What do we repair?
What can we repair?
Generally, small items that you can carry into the Repair Café, such as:
jewellery and accessories
clothes (darning, hemming, buttons)
documents and books (re-binding, repairing frayed edges)
wooden items (chairs)
pedal bikes & scooters
electrical items (vacuum cleaners, bedside lamps, toasters etc.
computers
sharpening of small garden tools (shears, Knifes etc.)
What can't we repair?
Generally,
Items that are too large or heavy for you to carry alone such as Large Kitchen white goods (microwaves, fridges etc.)
Very precious items
Items that require welding or specialist soldering
